The winded messenger who brought him this news did not know why his master had requested the witcher’s presence. Geralt, however, knew Crach well enough to know that the Jarl would not ask him to come without an important reason, and so he set off without delay towards Kaer Trolde castle, the ancestral home of the an Craite clan.
